Amber Bain (The Japanese House) produces mesmerising, spell binding music time and time again. With her brilliant ability to create deeply atmospheric melodic sounds, The Japanese House is a stunning way to end this list. After spending much of last year touring, supporting the 1975, and writing new music, Bain hopes to release her debut album sometime late this year. The Japanese House is certainly a somewhat ambiguous musical project from Bain, hopefully the album will enable us to gain a stronger understanding of her musical style.  However, this difficult to pindown style is something which I applaud as it regularly produces pure tranquillity.
